Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Engineering in relevant discipline and experience in the design of upstream oil and gas facilities.

Years of experience:

4 – 7 Years in relevant engineering.

Responsibilities:

  1. Execute all activities and work in Compliance with PETROKON Quality Management System and HSE Management System.
  2. All engineering and design matters in the relevant discipline pertaining to specific projects.
  3. Direct a team of Designers in the relevant discipline to execute specific projects in accordance with the specified quality and within the specified schedule.
  4. Co-ordinate with project team members on all technical matters pertaining to specific projects.
  5. Train Trainees and Developing Professionals.

Tasks:

  1. Prepare and check engineering reports, calculations, specifications, requisitions, data sheets and drawings.
  2. Provide input to progress reports.
  3. Maintain discipline project files and design change logs.
  4. Co-ordinate with project team members.
  5. Review third party design.
  6. Carry out field surveys.
  7. Identify scope changes.
  8. Participate in project reviews, progress meetings and quality audits
  9. Prepare minutes of meeting and all technical correspondence

Required Qualifications:

  1. Secondary school certificate or equivalent.
  2. Having Knowledge in AutoCAD and training AutoCAD certificate

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities shall include but not be limited to;

  1. Execute all activities and work in Compliance with PETROKON Quality Management System and HSE Management System.
  2. Self check all tasks to ensure the documents produced are correct with respect to information provided, methods used and results obtained.

Tasks:

The tasks shall include but not be limited to;

  1. Execute design tasks as directed, including preparing and checking deliverables, assisting in field surveys and taking photographs.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental discipline or equivalent.
2. Compliance to IChemE Professional Process Safety Engineer or equivalent.
3. Over 10 – 15 years of proven experience.
4. Membership to a recognized institution like IChemE, IMechE, MIE Aust, IPENZ, IEM.
5. Approved HAZOP and HEMP Studies Leader by a recognized institution.
6 Competent in Risk Modeling Studies such as ORA. FERA, etc

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities shall include but not be limited to;

  1. Execute all activities and work in Compliance with PETROKON Quality Management System and HSE Management System. 
  2. Manage expectations with clients and other discipline’s engineers while executing the
    assigned project deliverables.
  3. Provide competent and efficient engineering and design services in accordance with
    Company’s and Client’s requirements by taking into account the safety aspects of design in relationship to project cycle, e.g. HEMP requirements, risk analysis and life cycle cost.
  4. Provide technical assurance as an approved Technical Authority in Technical Safety
    covering HEMP requirements, RAM, ALARP study, Bow Tie, Loss Prevention, COMAH, EIA etc for the Oil and Gas Industry Upstream and Downstream.

Tasks:

The tasks shall include but not be limited to;

  1. Facilitate and Lead in HAZOP/HAZID and HEMP (Hazards and Effects Management)
    studies/workshop such as Firepran, Bow tie, HAZID, SIL classification, ORA and ALARP
    study as an approved leader.
  2. Preparation and review of deliverables related to Technical Safety.
  3. Preparation and review of the HAC (Hazardous Area Classification) drawings.
  4. Review the simulations using approved software, analyse and utilise the findings.
  5. Participate in loss prevention and fire protection studies, early risk assessment studies. fire and gas detection layout preparation and preparation of the passive fire protection packages.
  6. Review the emergency escape diagram, layout safety aspects and the plot plans in line with the Client and International standards as applicable.
  7. Conduct and/or Lead applicable Technical Safety and Environmental studies as required by Client.
  8. Coordinate and approve safety engineering work with approved subcontractors and
    specialists for ORA studies, building the Design HSE case, Major Accident Hazards (MAH), COMAH etc.
  9. Ensure compliance to Shell DEM-1 and DEM-2 for Shell projects.
  10. Identify and provide Input to Safety Critical Elements (SCE) and their performance
    standards.
  11. Incorporate Environmental aspects of (IS014001) of oil and gas design.
  12. Adapt in Software knowledge such as THESIS, SAFETI based IRA modelling or similiar
    software.
  13. Coaching and mentoring of Engineers and Junior Engineers
