Petrokon Utama is the first company I have worked with considering my full time career. I enrolled to this company to be a Project Engineer, despite my shortfall for the overall technical knowledge for the industry I have persevered to gain more technical wisdom. Even though I may have come from being a graduate of Civil & Structural engineering there have been many opportunities for me to learn from across many disciplines and management. It wouldn’t be fair to say there are never ups and downs to be where I am today and turn myself into an active project Engineer, I chose to be resilient and keep striving to achieve my goals regardless that I may be seen as a young soul, but there is a thriving soul that will push above all limits to deliver. This is what being with Petrokon has trained me to be. Being human, there are shortfalls but with relentless support and guidance from my supervisors, immediate senior, colleagues, and management, I’ve managed to achieve desired results so far and keep moving forward. It’s all about the willpower, and to do the right thing even when your gut tells you otherwise because I believe in taking risk and maximizing opportunity.
