During mid-June, Petrokon Utama Sdn Bhd had their very first Company-wide Organizational Health Check Survey (OHCS). This survey was developed with the objectives to understand the current level of employee motivation, satisfaction and to address any organizational issues and concerns raised at corporate and departmental level. This survey is also one of the HR roadmap action items and is included in the Petrokon’s Corporate KPI 2021.

The OHCS met the goal of 70% participation rate and 60% overall positive rate. The OHCS overall results discussed with the Management and identified 5 focus areas to address issues and concerns arising from the survey.

12 engagement session with staff by department were held to better understand the issues and concerns. From these sessions, proposed action plans at Corporate, Departmental, Team and individual levels will be deliberated, and they will form part of the 2022 action plans and Corporate KPI. The implementation of the proposed actions will be monitored, and the effective closure of the action plans will be reflected when we conduct another OHCS in 2022.
