In conjunction with the World Mental Health Day celebration and as part of PETROKON commitment to corporate social responsibility, PETROKON supported to raise fund to build Therapeutic Park under Ministry of Health.

The celebration was held on Saturday 26th March 2022 at the Therapeutic Park, Department of Psychiatric Services, Hospital Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha in the area of the Department of Psychiatric Services, Kampung Kiarong. The event was attended by Minister of Health, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Md. Isham bin Haji Jaafar as the guest of honor.

Therapeutic PARK is an outdoor park specifically designed to meet the physical, psychological and social needs of the patients of the Department of Psychiatric Services by combining design principles derived from scientific evidence.

Therapeutic environments are essential to the success of the hospital environment, the development of which is internationally considered to be best practice for healthcare design. Among other benefits, the garden promotes wellbeing and encourages physical therapy. They contribute to stress reduction, social and emotional support and a feeling of security and safety, enhancing a patient-focused positive recovery experience.
