On 31st March 2022, Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) held an Excellence Award Ceremony to award Best Final Year Project Award to students of UTB. Attending as the Guest of Honour were the Minister of Education, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sulaiman and the Minister of Energy, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Awang Haji Mat Suny bin Haji Md. Hussein. On behalf of Petrokon Utama Sdn Bhd, Haji Amit Hj Abd Razak, Coroporate HR Manager, handed over the award to the Minister of Education who in turn presented the award to the recipients.

Seven (7) Engineering Graduates were awarded during the Excellence Award ceremony. They were from Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering background.
