Welcoming Back to the Office

After more than 5 months of Working From Home (WFH), on 24th January 2022 PETROKON welcomed back their staff following the government directives of 70% capacity in the office. Earlier, the Company’s prepared the SOP relating to Covid-19 that complies with MOH’s requirements and advises and this was shared with staff before they came back to office.

During the first week, 25% of staff came back to work in the office and that number gradually increased to nearly 70%. Our front liners who were made up of HSE, HR and IT worked together to coordinate staff returning to PETROKON HQ, Lumut Project Office (LPO) and Aker Office.

Duties and responsibilities of the front liner included issuance of ART kits and observing staff performing the ART test. The staffs then had to take a photo of the ART test and report it to the front liner team where staffs were only allowed to enter the office premises if they were tested negative on ART kit. There were a few challenges at the early stages of welcoming back staff to the office but with the teamwork of the front liner team we were able to cope with the situation.
